Background to the project

IMS Consulting works closely with Skanska AB to communicate the company’s initiatives and actions relating to sustainability.

Given the number of projects that it’s responsible for worldwide, Skanska recognised the importance of communicating achievements in sustainability that many of these demonstrate and IMS was called in to deliver a dynamic tool for this.

IMS Consulting delivers – the whole story

Drawing on its experience in sustainable construction, IMS Consulting developed a case study engine using StakeholderTALK™ Case Study! to host information about Skanska’s projects, making it both interesting and readily accessible online.

This web-hosted engine on a dedicated microsite, populated and maintained by IMS, delivers information which can be searched dynamically using specific criteria, such as ‘aspects of sustainability’, ‘location’ and ‘keyword’. Searches can be refined and updated, allowing users to select, for example, case studies on projects completed in Latin America with a top tier tag of social aspect of sustainability and second tier tag of corporate community involvement. The regularly updated engine provides a valuable resource for use by a wide variety of Skanska’s stakeholders, both internal and external.

The engine provides Skanska AB with a dynamic communication tool, delivering relevant information, meaningful user statistics and improves Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
