IMS Consulting works closely with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s (WBCSD) Cement Sustainability Initiative (CSI), managing various channels of communication for this important global programme.  Greenhouse gas mitigation is currently a major focus of the cement industry. Adopting a sectoral approach, which provides a combination of policies and measures designed to enhance mitigation within the UN framework, is one way that industry can act to reduce emissions.  IMS Consulting delivered one to one briefings in Brussels and London with NGOs and media representatives, ranging from WWF to the European Climate Foundation, Point Carbon to ENDS Europe.
